Margaret Heipel O'Grady, E-RYT, Co-Director. Margaret is an experienced registered, certified yoga teacher. Margaret began practicing yoga after the birth of her 3 children. The amazing benefits of practicing yoga drew her to train more intensely. Her first Teacher Training Course (500 hours), 2002-2004, began her fascination for the possibilities of yoga. The loving guidance of Nesta Falladown and the faculty of Yoga Centre of Burlington’s in depth training opened the door to the vast potential of being a yogi. She later completed Iyengar teacher Francois Raoult’s intensive Essential Teacher Training (200 hours) in 2007 at Open Sky Yoga, Rochester, NY. And still the training continued.
Margaret is also a certified Advanced Relax and Renew teacher, the result of master restorative teacher Judith Lasater’s inspired teacher training courses. Because the sister science Ayurveda is also of particular interest to her, Margaret has attended lectures with Dr. Robert Svoboda, Sonam Targee, Dr. Deepak Copra, and Dr. Nitin Shah.
Margaret’s interest in anatomy and yoga is inspired by her training sessions with Thomas Myers and Laura Antelmi. Margaret continues on the path of learning Iyengar yoga with senior teacher Mahyar Raz.
