The Yoga Centre of Burlington's Yoga Teacher Training began sharing the gift of Yoga in 2001 to eager innovative yogis and yoginis. Since then these amazing YCB yoga teacher graduates have seen, experienced and developed the growth of yoga in the region and around the world.
Yoga is a 5,000 year old art and science of balancing the body, mind and spirit. Yoga study includes asana, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. The Yoga Centre of Burlington recognizes a growing need for well-trained, qualified yoga instructors. Graduates of the Yoga Teacher Training Program at the Yoga Centre of Burlington may work in the community, planning and instructing for - Industry - Correctional Institutions -Senior Citizens’ Programs - Recreation, Sport and Fitness Centres -Board of Education -Schools for the Disabled -Yoga Centres - Personal Therapy or Training.

Exploring the body with asana or breath gives us the means to search for the quiet, expansive state of mind which brings stillness and peace. This series of classes focuses on sequences which begin to release the layers of tension, stress and misalignment, built up over time.
